Is your child bullied at school?

Parents believe their children will tell them things and let them know if they need help. They will not. Unreported acts of bullying allows thousands of school children to be bullied daily, and live in fear of a bully.

Bullying is dangerous, and cyber bullying is extremely dangerous. It can cause stress, depression, and even suicide. No parent deserves to lose a child by suicide resulting from bullying.

Bullied students often pay "bully bribes".

If valuable items disappear when your child goes to school, talk to him. He may be victim to "bully bribes"- giving money or something of value to a bully not to be beaten, injured, or harassed.

If your outgoing child suddenly becomes withdrawn, inactive, and claims to be sick on school days, watch him. If he makes excuses for not wanting to attend school, and often delays getting ready, its a warning sign. If his school grades suddenly drop and he has unexplained injuries; he is probably being bullied at school.

Fear of bully reprisal is the primary reason many acts of bullying are unreported.
